Saving fish for mother

Doctor Vo Cong Thanh was a mandarin of the Revival Le dynasty and had the esteem of the seignior Trinh. One day, doctor Vo entered the seigniorial palace when the seignior was taking a meal with fish. The seignior permitted him to take meal at the same time. The servants brought a bowl of rices and a piece of fish, doctor Vo ate rices and saved fish. The seignior was surprised, the doctor said:

- I would like to save fish for my old mother.

The seignior praised Mr. Vo and he told the servants to bring him another piece of fish. The servants brought the end of fish, doctor Vo ate this one and saved that one. The seignior admired him more.
